A Few Tips

The Route

Island Hopping the Dalmatian Coast

Our route will weave through some of the most beautiful islands in the Adriatic. We'll cruise about 2 to 2.5 hours per day — the rest is swimming, exploring, and relaxing.

Split Brač Vis Korčula Jelsa Šolta Hvar Split

Exact itinerary depends on weather and current conditions and will be determined during the cruise. The captain will choose the best route each day.

Zlatni Rat beach, Brač

Brač

Home to Zlatni Rat — Croatia's most famous beach, a golden horn of pebbles that shifts shape with the wind. Crystal-clear shallows perfect for kids and snorkeling.

Blue Cave, Vis

Vis

The most remote inhabited island. Visit the stunning Blue Cave on Biševo, swim in Stiniva Bay (voted Europe's best beach), and eat at no-frills konobas where the fish was caught hours ago.

Korčula old town

Korčula

A miniature Dubrovnik without the crowds. Walled medieval old town, claimed birthplace of Marco Polo. Renowned for its white wines — try Pošip and Grk.

Jelsa harbor

Jelsa

A quiet harbor town on Hvar's north coast. Surrounded by lavender fields and pine forests. Laid-back atmosphere, great local restaurants, and beautiful nearby coves.

Šolta bay

Šolta

The locals' secret — largely untouched by tourism. Famous for its olive oil and honey. Peaceful bays with water so clear the boat looks like it's floating on air.

Hvar town harbor

Hvar

The glamour island. Upscale restaurants, cocktail bars overlooking the harbor, 13th-century fortress with panoramic views. The liveliest nightlife on the Adriatic.

Departure

Getting Home

The yacht returns to Split on June 13, but we may not be in Split harbor on the last night. Here's how departure works:

Option 1 — Stay until the end. The yacht arrives back in Split the morning of June 13. Enjoy one last breakfast on board, then disembark by 9:00 AM. Split Airport is about 60 minutes from the port.

Option 2 — Leave early. If you need to head out before the yacht returns to Split, we'll arrange a speedboat to shore and a taxi to the airport for you. Just let us know your flight details and we'll take care of everything.

✈️ Same-Day Flights

If you stay until the morning of June 13, book afternoon flights to be safe. Need to leave earlier? Speedboat + taxi can be arranged — just let us know.

🌇 Stay an Extra Night

We can arrange a hotel in Split for June 12 or 13. Explore Diocletian's Palace, the Riva waterfront, or take a day trip to Trogir.

FAQ

Everything Else You Need to Know

Is there WiFi on board?
Yes — OHANA has Starlink satellite internet. Expect stable, high-speed connectivity in most locations, good enough for video calls. Extreme weather or very remote areas may affect performance.
What power outlets are on board?
European Type C/F, with 2 USB ports per cabin. There's one adapter provided in each bedroom — bring an extra if you'll need more.
What's a typical day like?
Wake up, breakfast at your preferred time, 2–2.5 hours of cruising to the next island, anchor in a beautiful bay for swimming and water sports, lunch on board, explore the town in the afternoon. Some evenings there's the option to go ashore for dinner at a local restaurant — or stay on board. Repeat.
Are meals on board or ashore?
Both. The chef prepares breakfast and lunch on board (buffet style). On some evenings, those who want to can go ashore for dinner at restaurants on the islands — it's always optional. Hvar has the fanciest restaurants; other islands are more relaxed with local konobas (taverns).
What about seasickness?
Seasickness medication is available on board (note: it may cause drowsiness). If you're prone to motion sickness, bring your own remedies: acupuncture wrist bands, motion patches (behind the ear — strongest ones from Asian pharmacies), or Thai herbal balm (roll-on, strong smell but very effective).
What should I wear?
On board: swimwear, casual clothes, whatever you're comfortable in. Going ashore: covered (not in swimwear). For nicer restaurants in Hvar, smart casual. Other islands are relaxed.
What about children on board?
Adult life jackets are available. Parents should bring their own children's life jackets in the correct size (or we can purchase from the provisioning allowance). Baby cribs and high chairs are available on board for those who need them.
Is there laundry on board?
Yes — wash and dry service is available on board with 24-hour turnaround.
What about medical emergencies?
First aid kit is on board and crew is certified to provide first aid. European emergency number: 112, ambulance direct line: 194. See the Emergency & Medical section above for hospital details at every island stop.
How much luggage can I bring?
No strict limit, but luggage is stored in your cabin. Soft bags recommended — hard suitcases are difficult to store.
How warm is the water?
Average water temperature in June is 22°C (72°F), ranging from 19–25°C. Warm enough to swim comfortably.
Can I bring my own drinks or snacks?
You're welcome to, but everything will be fully provisioned on board — so it may not be worth the hassle of carrying it all to the port.
What happens on boarding day?
Board at 4:00 PM at Split West Coast Port. Welcome drink, meet the crew, safety briefing. Then we cruise to Brač island, anchor in a quiet bay for a swim, and have dinner on board. The trip begins.
